It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Marie McEwen (Pedersen) at Oliver Lodge on October 8, 2023 at the age of 99.

Helen was born on February 27, 1924 to Hans and
Borghild Pedersen on the farm at Hawarden SK.
She married her husband, Gordon, in 1948 and moved to their farm in the Star City district. They farmed together until 1978 when they moved to Saskatoon.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Morley
(Betty), and Marlene; her grandchildren, Monty
(Lesley), Angela (Daryle), Jeff (Hyesung), Blaine
(Tatum), and Brad; her great grandchildren, Austin,
Blake, Jared, Curtis, Rayelle, Dylan, Finn, and Paige;
her sisters-in-law, Phyllis, Karren, and June; and her
many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother and father,
her husband, Gordon; her brothers, Martin, Bjarne,
Morris, Ray, Hans, Oscar, and Norman; her sisters,
Hardis (baby), Hardis, Ruth, and Sonja; her brothers-in-law, Ted, Martin, Bob, and Jesse; her sisters-inlaw,
Kathleen, Mildred, Joyce, and Della.

She will always be remembered for her loving and
caring nature by all that knew her.
