It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irving Opdahl of Hanley, SK, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the age of 90 years. Born on August 25, 1933, Irving lived a full and cherished life.

Irving was the beloved husband of Shirley and a devoted father to Trent and Sherry (Paul). He was a proud grandfather to Max, Joelynn (Jason), and Tom (Abby), and a loving great-grandfather to Elizabeth and Matthias. Irving is also survived by his siblings, Jerrold (Jean), Dale (Lillian), and Linda (Ron).

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem, Hawarden Church. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem, Hawarden Cemetery.

Donations in Irving’s memory may be made to the Hanley Rosedale Fire Department, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hawarden, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Irving will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
