With deep love and sadness, we mark the passing of Jean Rose Niskala of Macrorie (and recent resident of the Lucky Lake Health Center), which occurred on August 11, 2023, at the age of 93 years.
Jean is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Brenda
Niskala of Regina, her son Daniel (Bernadette)
Niskala of Dinsmore, her daughter Donna Niskala
(Cam Szakacs) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and her
seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many much loved cousins and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Elmer Niskala; her son, Allan Niskala; her parents, George and Hilma Gallagher; brothers John and Jim (Isobel) Gallagher; sister Leila (Willard) Montgomery, and sisters-in-law Lempi (Arvid) Karvonen. and Ina (Bill) Hietala.
Many thanks to the Lucky Lake staff who took such good care of Jean in her final passage.
