With deep sorrow, we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Johnathon Loyens on January 25, 2025. Born on August 20, 1976, in London, ON. John was a devoted partner, father, son, brother, and friend who touched many lives with his kindness and determination.
He leaves behind his loving spouse of nearly 13 years, Crystal Armit; his children, Austin Loyens, Cheyanne Loyens, Paige Loyens, and stepdaughter Breanna Armit. He is also survived by his mother, Elizabeth Spruyt, and her husband, Steven Blake; his brothers, Jamie Loyens and Jason Loyens; his sister, Jennifer (Anson) George; and his grandparents, Elizabeth and John VanLoon. He will also be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law, Bobbie Jo Loyens, Amanda (Wilbur) Vanzon, and Heather (Josh) Prues, as well as his parents-in-law, Brenda and Robert Armit.
John was an incredible man with an unmatched drive and determination. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, taking on various jobs before finding his true passion in hotshot delivery, where he was known for his reliability and dedication. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to build a successful company from the ground up, a testament to his perseverance and work ethic.
Those who knew John will always remember his quick wit, unique sense of humor, and larger-than-life personality. His strength, resilience, and unwavering love for his family were his greatest qualities. He was endlessly proud of his children and their accomplishments and cherished the time spent with his loved ones.
Beyond work and family, John had a deep passion for motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons. Riding was more than a hobby—it was a way of life for him, and he found joy and freedom on the open road.
The family is devastated by his untimely passing but takes comfort in the countless memories they shared with him. John’s impact on those around him will never be forgotten, and his legacy of love, laughter, and determination will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
