It is with great sadness that the family of Joyce Adrienne Francis Cragg announces her passing on December 20, 2024, at the age of 92 years, filled with love, laughter, and wonderful treasured memories.
Joyce was born on a farm near Dunfermline, Sask. to Roy and Emma Crockett on October 3, 1932. She married William Cragg (Bill) on February 21, 1951. Bill and Joyce ran the store for several years in the Dunfermline area near Asquith. They later moved to Hallwoods where Bill ran the elevator and in 1955, they moved to Anerley where they raised their four kids. Joyce worked as a cook in the Dinsmore Hospital. She started working on May 15, 1981, at the Outlook Pioneer Home, first as a cook then in housekeeping until she retired twelve years later. Bill and Joyce moved to Outlook in 1984. After many years on her own, she moved into the High Rise in the fall of 2018 where she shared her glorious smile and charm, making lots of special friends.
She is survived by her family Wesley (Lyla) Cragg, Myrna Cragg, Marilyn (Victor) Sheard, and Peggy (John) Sawyshyn. Ten grandchildren Cherrill (Dustan), Robert, Chris (Jenn) and Riley (Dom), Marie (Lance) and Teresa (Darren); Billy (Amanda) and Danny (Lana); Scott (Jill); Stacey (Danny). Her twelve great grandchildren Brianna, Liam, Isla, Paisley, Rhett, Lilly, Landon, Logan, Sunny Joyce, Damian, Julia and Olivia and several step great grandchildren. A sister-in-law Anne Cragg and a special aunty, Dorothy Haanen.
Joyce is predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents Roy and Emma Crockett, a brother Merle Crockett, his wife Rita Crockett. Her in laws Wes and Mary Cragg, brother in laws David (Jean) Cragg, Jim Cragg, Jack Cragg, and sister-in-law Betty Bishop. Also was predeceased by nieces and nephews Debbie, Micheal Crockett, Davey Cragg, Allen, and Jason Bishop.
Joyce's legacy of love and kindness will leave a lasting impact on everyone she touched, as she will forever be remembered as a truly special woman whose warmth and compassion enriched the lives of all those around her.
The memory of our Mother, the most extraordinary woman we have ever known, will forever rest gently in our hearts, a soft light that continues to shine, although she is no longer here with us.
Donations can be made to Outlook and District Health Foundation (Long Term Care), Outlook, SK. where they took such great care of our Mother, or a donors’ choice. There will be a family burial and a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Grandma, I'll remember your kindness, generosity and gentle nature. You showed me such deep, caring and acceptance. I will think of you often, I was so fortunate to have my grandma for so many years. Thank you, for being an extraordinary example of a life well lived. A well tended garden, bags of frozen fruit and vegetables from it; a cup of tea or coffee and toast at every late night journey I made as a child; kindness to all God's creations and creatures; the definition of love and compassion I aspire to be with all, especially Brianna, Liam and Dustan.
