With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marina Matlock of Outlook, SK, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the age of 70 years. Born on September 14, 1953, to Michael and Lillian Matlock, Marina touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, kindness, and boundless love.
Marina was the beloved wife of Lyall Campbell, a devoted and cherished mother to Neil Lowes, Maegan Lowes, and Tiffany Kepurra, and a proud grandmother to Lexus Lamond, Teagan Lamond, Harley Dwyer, and Sawyer Dwyer. She is also survived by her brother Daniel Matlock and sister Marilyn Matlock (John Vezina). Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, her beloved grandpuppy, and the many adopted children and grandchildren who found a loving home in her heart. Marina loved every child that passed through her home as if they were her own.
Marina shared her passion for gardening all over town and in many different provinces, generously offering plants to anyone who wanted them. She loved to travel and reveled in thrifting, discovering many treasures and jewels during her adventures. Her spirit of giving and love of life left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Outlook Legion Hall, Outlook, SK. A short program with fellowship following, to reflect the love and joy Marina brought into the lives of those around her. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marina’s memory may be made to the Outlook and District Health Foundation or a charity of your choice.

I am so saddened to hear of Marina's passing. We shared many good times bonding over our love of plants and trying new classes like making sour dough and baking on a clay oven. My condolences to her family.

So many wonderful memories! Marina and I had many adventures while we were involved in SGEU. She was a force to be reckoned with, in a good way! I treasure her Matlock Family Cookbook, and will always treasure the memories. We have lost a wonderful friend; heaven has gained a brilliant angel. Or witch. Witches: the topic of our last conversation. Condolences to Lyall, Neil, Maegan, Tiffany & grandchildren. Know she's left her mark and will be greatly missed. Love, Hugs, and Blessings. Jo Anne
