Surrounded by her loving family, Marion passed away in her 97th year, at the Outlook Hospital on March 23rd. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Jean (Bill) Ball, sons Lorne (Marilyn) and Murray (Tracy) Brack, daughter-in-law Janet Brack, grandchildren Dave (Rochelle), Jason (Cynthia), Katie (Liam), Sarah (Jona), Samantha, Alexander (Kailee) and Caleb, her great-grandchildren Emmett, Reed and Georgie, her sister-in-law Roberta Keith and many treasured nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, sons Robert and Doug, daughter-in-law Sharon and granddaughter Amanda.
Marion was born in the family home in Outlook, the 7th of 10 children in the close-knit Keith family. As the last surviving sibling she loved to share stories of growing up in Outlook and her many adventures she had with her brothers and sisters. This began a lifelong love of Saskatchewan and the prairies.
Marion trained at St. Paul Hospital in Saskatoon and was a nursing supervisor for many years at Bethany Care Centre in Calgary. Marion, Gordon, and their family lived at Gardiner damsite during its construction (Cutbank), Regina, Calgary, and retired back in Outlook.
Marion loved hosting family gatherings, was always up for a game of cards, enjoyed watching curling, was a keen follower of Canadian politics, and was a lifelong NDP and social equity supporter. She kept in close contact with her large extended family, and they eagerly awaited their birthday phone call from Marion.
Most of all Marion was a fun, caring, compassionate, and fiercely independent woman who loved and was loved.
A private gathering will take place at a later date. Thanks to Outlook and District Health Centre for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Outlook & District Food Bank.

To Jean and family, I was saddened to read of your mom's passing. I had a great visit with her at the dam reunion in 2017. I remember her kindness and patching me up a few times after our escapades.

So sorry to hear about Marion's passing. We did not meet her, but could clearly feel the love that family members had for her and the joy that they felt on their frequent visits with her in Outlook. Her inspiring example has spread far and she will live on in the memories of many. May she rest in perfect peace. Sincerely, Vicky and John Badger
