Obituary For Stanley "Butch" Weston Harrison

Stanley Weston "Butch" Harrison
December 24, 1953 – January 1, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stanley Weston "Butch" Harrison of Macrorie, SK, on January 1, 2025, at the age of 71 years. Born on December 24, 1953, Butch was a cherished son, brother, brother-in-law, father, and friend. He lived a full and vibrant life, forming lasting connections with family and friends across the globe.

Butch is lovingly remembered by his children: Bradley Harrison of Outlook, SK (Teddy of Regina, SK.), Erin (Yvan) Bruneau and grandsons Chase and Aiden of St. Jean Baptiste, MB., and chosen family of Cam (Malora) Cormack, and grandchildren, Henry, George, and Iola, of D’Arcy, SK.

He will also be deeply missed by his spouse, Lorie, with whom he shared many wonderful years and remained closely connected.

Butch’s extended family includes his siblings and their spouses, many nieces & nephews, and the next generation, all of whom held a special place in his heart. His countless friends, who were a source of immense joy to him, are scattered far and wide, reflecting the breadth of his connections. All who knew him also know of his love and care for his “4 legged kids” and the food and shelter he offered to any who arrived on his doorstep. SOS is a province-wide cat rescue, and he would be pleased to see it supported.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Outlook Civic Center, Outlook, SK.

Donations in Butch’s memory may be directed to SOS Prairie Rescue, 105 Melville Street, Saskatoon, SK S7J 5A5, or online at www.sosprairierescue.com/donate.
